Rock Climb: Castle Rock

Went back to L-worth on Friday with Paul to climb Castle Rock. We began on lower Castle via The Fault (5.6) and gained Logger's Ledge via Catapult (5.8) - a wonderfully exposed corner crack/roof with excellent protection. We kept the thrill factor going by ascending upper Castle via "Scary" Canary (5.9). I lead the first pitch in strong style, executing the strenuous "bellyflop" mantel well. The second pitch with its exposed 5.7 step-across and 5.8 bolt-protected face climbing is indeed classic. All-in-all an excellent way to ascend Castle in style - good times.
